Challange One

How does globalization challenge us as professionals in education?

The day started with name-tags (stickers) being handed out. Afterwards the teachers were introduced.

Lillan then told the whole class about the course. 

I was quite surprised by how many students there were. It was very nice to be among all these different people who had different cultures. 

Questions were then given to each student. We then were told to stand up and go around to mingle with the other students.  We had to find a partner we did not know and ask the question. The other partner then had to ask the question she/he had. Afterwards we swapped questions. We then were told to stand up and go around to mingle with the other students. 

We then sat down and were put in groups of 6 where we had to make a poster about three things we thought were a challenge to change in the world.

What do you see as the 3 biggest challenges in the world today?

- Pollution, Poverty, Global warming, population

 How can you work on that as a professional
-Inform students about the different areas... causes and possible solutions.
